Here the focus is on technical texts such as field manuals (assembly, maintenance and repair manuals), service and maintenance manuals as well as media translations, such as sales manuals (print and online versions) and product brochures. Success factors: planning and project management
In the case of large projects involving multiple languages, good communication is the key to success. For example, up to approximately 60 people work in parallel on the biennial update of user manuals for different models of escalators and moving walks. Here ASI relies on early resource planning as well as thorough preparation of the reference material in all languages, along with efficient project management by experienced and capable project managers.
