Memberships
t’works is a member of the most important national and international industry associations.
No company is an island. t’works has strong partners by its side through its memberships of associations and forums. The associations are driven by a high level of quality awareness. They work to prevent problems in specialist communication and contribute to knowledge transfer through seminars, webinars, workshops, publications and knowledge platforms.
The Globalization & Localization Association (GALA) is a global non-profit association for companies in the translation and localization industry. The association supports its members and the globalization sector by setting standards, sharing knowledge and developing technologies.
DTT e.V. (the German Terminology Society) is the forum for everybody involved in terminology and terminology work. Our common goal is to contribute to solving technical communication problems by consulting, coordinating and organizing symposia and workshops that we actively participate in.
Gesellschaft für Technische Kommunikation, tekom Deutschland e.V., is the largest professional association for technical communication in Europe with over 8,000 members. tekom is the platform for the exchange of information and experience, promotes training and further education and the professionalization of its members.
The association “QUALITÄTSSPRACHENDIENSTE Deutschlands (QSD) e.V.” was founded in 1998 under the umbrella of the European organisation EUATC (European Union of Associations of Translation Companies). The members of QSD play an important role in the German translation market. Their customers include medium-sized and large companies operating internationally, as well as German DAX-listed companies including manufacturing and IT firms, banks and heavy industry.
