A high level of technical expertise for ŠKODA (H1)

t’works affiliate ASI has been supporting ŠKODA since 2017 with its technical expertise. Main focus: technical translations for the automotive industry.

ŠKODA Austria is Austria’s official importer for vehicle and engine manufacturer ŠKODA Auto a.s., which was founded as velocipede manufacturer Laurin & Klement in 1895 by Václav Laurin and Václav Klement and manufactured its first automobile in 1905.

ASI has been providing language services to ŠKODA Austria since 2017, successfully completing over 40 projects in specialised fields such as technical translations for the automotive industry, marketing and law.

Text types: from app texts to product brochures

ASI provides comprehensive support to ŠKODA in technical translations for the automotive industry, marketing and law, focusing on technical texts such as app texts and online training courses, but also media translations such as project brochures. Our core team of translators knows the client’s technical terminology inside out. To ensure a uniform presentation, our translation memory is continuously updated.

Success factors: expertise and project management

In the case of highly technical texts, linguistic and technical expertise are the key to success. For example, a highly specialised core team of technical translators work on the updates of app texts for different vehicle models. Here ASI relies on continuous updating of the translation memory as well as on close collaboration with the client. This ensures usage of the client-specific terminology and timely delivery in the premium quality for which ASI is known.
